We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Architect

to join our team in

Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in

designing and design review

, with a

minimum of 12 years of experience

, including at least

3 years in a senior architectural position within a consultancy firm

.

The candidate must also have a

strong understanding of Abu Dhabi regulations

and

approval processes

(ADM, DMT, Estidama, etc.) and be capable of managing coordination between stakeholders, consultants, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee architectural design development for various project types (residential, commercial, institutional, etc.) Review architectural designs and ensure compliance with client requirements, codes, and local regulations Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external consultants Handle submissions to relevant authorities and manage the approval process efficiently, especially within Abu Dhabi Ensure all architectural documentation and deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards Guide and mentor junior architects and design team members Participate in meetings with clients, authorities, and internal project teams Support business development by contributing to proposals and concept designs as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering (BSc. Arch. Eng.) Minimum 12 years of professional experience in architecture At least 3 years in a similar

senior role within a consultancy

environment Proven experience in

architectural design and design review

Strong knowledge of

Abu Dhabi regulations and approval processes

(ADM, DMT, Estidama, etc.) Familiarity with Dubai authority processes (DDA, Dubai Municipality, etc.) is a plus Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills UAE experience is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

Estidama PQP certification is an advantage LEED accreditation is a plus Experience with large-scale or high-profile projects Arabic language skills are a bonus
