JLL MEA Education Advisory Services
The Education Advisory division of JLL MEA stands as a beacon of specialized expertise in the Middle East and Africa, offering tailored education advisory services across the region. Our team's deep industry knowledge and strategic insight serve a diverse clientele, including education operators, infrastructure developers, government agencies, and multilateral organizations. We deliver actionable strategies and comprehensive advice that span the entire education spectrum, from early childhood care in nurseries to advanced learning in higher education institutions addressing the full lifecycle of learning needs. What this job involves:

• Your primary role would be to work with the education advisory services team and undertake education feasibility studies, business plan formulation, formulation of development strategies for schools, higher education institutes and the different education segments.
• Support in the execution of nation-wide / city-wide education strategies, market research and operator search for universities/ schools
• Market analysis and gap analysis for education segments (example: Education cities, university towns, universities, schools / nurseries, etc) along with extensive market benchmarking to support the analysis.
• Identification of education opportunity sectors by utilizing global, national and regional datasets as well as understanding on the on-ground demand dynamics
• Conduct comprehensive macro/micro-economic analyses using global/regional demographic and education data.
• Execute detailed financial assessments, including post-tax financial modeling and preparation of balance sheets and P&L statements to establish project viability.
• Engage in structured interviews with key stakeholders to gauge market dynamics and formulate effective strategies and market advice for clients.
• Collect and analyze primary and secondary market data to generate insightful reports and recommendations.
• Conduct on-site market assessments and studies to gather firsthand intelligence.
• Preparation of business pitches / proposals / tenders for private as well as government clients
• Contribute to the successful execution of other business development and marketing initiatives as needed
• Produce clear, succinct write-ups to be included within education sector research reports and consulting assignments

Professional Competencies

• High proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel - Good report writing skills in MS Word, ability to prepare succinct PowerPoint presentations and excellent understanding of MS Excel and financial modelling
• Familiarity with various statistical & economic models used for forecasting & analysis
• Flexibility for travel within Middle East and Africa

Other Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; (and preferably also Arabic)
• Willingness to take on new challenges
• Be capable of managing stress & accepting constructive feedback

Experience:

• Experience of having worked across education advisory studies covering market research, feasibility, business planning for clients working across the different education segments (nurseries, schools, higher education, vocational training, etc.).
• Previous technical background in market research / financial analysis etc.
• 3 - 5 years' professional experience preferred

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Relevant master's degree in real estate / finance / economics / business preferred
