Job Purpose: The Senior Analyst Business Continuity will play a crucial role in supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of ADX's business continuity strategies, policies, and frameworks. The primary focus will be to ensure that business operations can continue effectively in the event of disruptions, safeguarding the interests of key stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves both proactive planning and reactive management of business continuity risks. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Contribution: Support the cascading of the business continuity strategy into operational plans and ensure alignment with departmental objectives and interdepartmental integration. People Management & Development: Collaborate with team members to drive performance, offering guidance and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities. Foster a values-driven culture by acting as a role model in adhering to organizational ethics and goals. Business Continuity Planning & Implementation: Assist in the creation, review, and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans in compliance with UAE regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and enhance the business continuity framework across ADX. Participate in selecting and refining business continuity methodologies, tools, and techniques. Contribute to managing the ADX Business Continuity programs, including BCM, IT Disaster Recovery, Crisis Communications, and Incident Management. Regularly assess business continuity readiness and ensure that all critical operations and systems can maintain pre-determined levels of continuity during disruptions. Incident Management: Assist in incident management by ensuring potential and actual incidents are logged, assessed, communicated, and resolved in accordance with business continuity plans. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks related to business continuity. Develop reports to track business continuity performance and adherence to regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving business continuity processes and integrate best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor business continuity maturity and highlight potential risks for management intervention. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments and external stakeholders, including auditors and government entities, to enhance the organization's business continuity strategy. Risk Management: Contribute to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, ensuring business continuity is fully integrated into ADX's overall risk management framework. Technical Skills: Familiarity with business continuity planning methodologies, disaster recovery processes, and incident management practices. Behavioral Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Process Engineering, or a related field. Certifications (Preferred): ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System Lead Implementer/Auditor. Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in business continuity, risk management, or related fields. Experience working in regulatory environments and supporting the implementation of business continuity programs is highly advantageous.
