This Senior Advisor - Safety, Health and Environment role supports a major infrastructure program in Dubai, guiding project teams toward exemplary SHE performance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive SHE strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site risk assessments and establish mitigation plans to reduce safety and environmental risks.
• Lead the creation and rollout of SHE policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Advise project teams on SHE compliance aligned with UAE regulations and international standards.
• Analyze SHE performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate SHE considerations into project planning and execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Deliver SHE training sessions to enhance team awareness and safety culture.
• Monitor evolving SHE regulations, trends, and technologies relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, industry forums, and external bodies on SHE matters.
• Ensure RTA approval requirements are fully met for site-based SHE supervision.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of SHE experience within the infrastructure sector.
• Proven record of developing and implementing SHE systems, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of local and international SHE standards and UAE regulatory practices.
• Experience improving safety performance and environmental sustainability within major projects.
• Expertise in safety management systems, risk assessment, and environmental impact methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and presentation abilities.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH.
• Familiarity with UAE cultural and regulatory context is highly desirable.
• RTA approval mandatory.
