Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Accounts Payable Executive

to oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across multiple brands and locations. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, strong internal controls, and effective vendor management, while also supervising the AP team and supporting audits and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations across all brands and outlets Review, verify, and approve vendor invoices, including high-value and complex cases Ensure accurate PO/GRN matching and maintenance of vendor master data Review and approve payment runs in line with agreed terms and cash flow plans Manage supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies and disputes Supervise AP-related bank reconciliations and investigate unmatched transactions Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards Monitor expenses, cost allocations, and support cost-control initiatives Oversee petty cash, employee reimbursements, and VAT compliance Review AP ageing, accruals, and support month-end and year-end closing Act as the main AP contact for internal and external audits Supervise, train, and develop the Accounts Payable team

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field

Experience

5-8 years of Accounts Payable experience Minimum 2 years in a senior or supervisory AP role

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of end-to-end AP processes Vendor reconciliations and payment controls Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliations) ERP / Accounting system experience

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Leadership and team management abilities Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines

Certifications

Professional certifications are an advantage
