We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced
Senior Accountant
to join our team. The ideal candidate must have
at least 6 years of proven experience in the UAE
, preferably within the
interior fit-out industry
. In addition to strong accounting skills, the candidate should be capable of handling
LPOs, quotations
, and supporting project cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payment cycles.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle
VAT filing and compliance
with UAE tax laws.
Monitor project-related expenses and support cost control.
Create, manage, and track
LPOs (Local Purchase Orders)
.
Prepare and issue
quotations
in coordination with procurement and sales teams.
Liaise with internal departments, vendors, and auditors as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of UAE experience
in a senior accounting role (mandatory).
Previous experience in a
fit-out or contracting company
is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of VAT laws and accounting principles in the UAE.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
Familiar with handling LPOs and preparing quotations.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
