We are on the lookout for a capable Senior Accountant to join our amazing team at GMS Inc in Dubai.

Responsible for the company's books,including timely management of Receivables, Payables, Cost Accountancy andGeneral ledger for sports team in India.

Manageand motivate team of accountants to deliver desired results.

Work closely with operations team in Indiabased in Bhubaneshwar and head office in Dubai and submit MIS onmonthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Work with auditors to ensure accurateand timely closure of books; identify and implement proactive cost control;providing management with accurate audited financial statements.

Handle fixed asset management.

Maintains historical records by filing documents.

Establish,maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting software andaccounting control procedures.

Handle monthly Bank reconciliation.

Audit invoices accurately.

Detect and resolve accountingdiscrepancies.

Filing all statutory returns and overseeall secretarial practices as required by the government from time to time.
Requirements
Qualified Accountant with minimum 10 years'experience at a manageriallevel in a reputable company.

Thorough knowledge of generalaccounting.

Experience with general ledger functionsand the month-end/year- end close process.

Hands-on experience with ERP accountingsoftware.

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Aptitude for numbers and quantitativeskills.

Excellent command over verbal and writtenEnglish communication skills.

Extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and managementskills.

Must have comprehensive knowledge of returnfiling requirements in India
