Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our organization's accounting functions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and support strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory reports.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Implement and improve accounting policies and procedures.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA/ACCA preferred)
Proven experience of 5+ years in accounting or finance roles
Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
