Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a strong grasp of financial regulations and a passion for working closely with clients? Assist Plus Accounting & Auditing is currently hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee and manage full-spectrum accounting services for a variety of clients. This position offers hands-on client exposure and requires regular site visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic and relationship-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings
• Prepare accurate financial reports, balance sheets, and management accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Ensure strict compliance with IFRS standards, UAE VAT regulations, and all local accounting laws
• Handle VAT returns, payroll processing, budget preparation, and audit support
• Visit client offices weekly for on-site reviews, meetings, and ongoing financial support
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions when required
• Guide, supervise, and support junior or remote accounting team members
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to clients, building and maintaining long-term professional relationships

Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
• Professional certifications like CA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with preference given to client-facing or consultancy roles
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT rules, and local regulatory standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions
• Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or ERP systems
• Must be open to traveling weekly to client offices within the UAE
• Arabic-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply and will be given preference
