Senior Accountant

Job Description
Our client is a global retail company and they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team in Dubai.
DUE TO THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED, ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulation and manage regular tax filing for the group entities
- Corporate Income implementation and timely filing for all UAE & KSA entities
- VAT health check, timely filling and refund request
- Coordinate and complete external audits and internal group audit
- Oversee and ensure compliance of accounting operations of the several companies of the group with group accounting policies
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Support team to ensure correct accounting on monthly closing
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or business administration
- Qualified
- 8+ years of overall combined audit and accounting experience
- Experience working in both in-house and external auditing firms
- Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting
- System experience with SAP Business One \xe2\x80\x93 be highly preferred
- Experience working in retail, FMCG, cosmetics and luxury will be preferred
