Job Tittle: Senior Accountant : -
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organised and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Responsibilities: -

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close.

• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyse expense variances for company management
• manage books of account
• preparation of monthly group financial report (PL, cash flow and ad hoc reports)
• manage banking transactions
• consolidation of report
• proactive networking and exchange of best practices with other members of the finance team in the region
• manage invoicing, validation, payment of vendor invoices verify, control travel and expense claims
• manage banking transactions
• ability to demonstrate presence and credibility within the organisation.
• ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• due to the confidential nature of the information dealt with, the role holder needs to be able discreet and to handle matters sensitively with concerns escalated appropriately.
• Preparing Management Information Reports analysing the financial statements and transactions.

Qualifications: -

• 5+ years' of professional accounting/finance experience
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
• Retail Experience Required
• Should have good knowledge of inventory
