Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant who will be part of the Finance & Accounting team of Lucid Middle East.

Responsibility: Perform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, prepaids, account analysis and help in resolving accounting issues. Perform all balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. Prepare and post intercompany elimination and journal entries in order to produce consolidated financial statements. Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive accurate reporting of key financial metrics. Review monthly accounting close process, including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained. Assist in preparing month-end financial statements and analyzing results. Maintain and enhance business processes, systems, documentation, and controls as part of SOX compliance efforts. Perform accounting for the company's leases under ASC 842, including collaborating with the real estate/supply chain/ IT team and reviewing new/existing leases. Assist with SEC reporting. Assist with various aspects of internal, external and ZATCA audits. Participate in various ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed. Proactively review the contracts, highlight any contractual risks, and monitor compliance with key contract terms. Implement controls, monitor compliance, supervise physical verification, and maintain accurate records of inventory & fixed assets. Ensure the accuracy of revenue and costs in the financial statements. Lead any other tasks which are assigned.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and/or the equivalent in experience. 5-7 years of Relevant background in accounting and finance. Excellent MS Excel skills. Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. CPA or SOCPA preferred. Working knowledge of SAP is a plus. Experience with Taxation in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
