About the role

We are currently looking for an established accounting professional. The main role of the Senior Accountant is to perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards related to general accounting, general ledger, projects, and / or government accounting.

Other responsibilities include: Compiles and maintains accounting statements, reports, general ledger accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets, and / or bank statement reconciliations in order to ensure smooth functioning of the processes. Monitors account entries and control activities to ensure accuracy of information. Support monthly closing. Assists on projects, and internal and external audits to ensure quality of project and timely completion. Prepares basic financial analysis to ensure accuracy of financial reporting. Maintains and collects Cash Receipts and Payment, forwards the supporting's to the shared services team to book it. Facilitates the communication between offshore AP team (shared service), operation, and vendors. Prepares and reviews of payment documents, drive timely payment. Performs periodic reporting in Dhareeba tax portal (contracts, withholding tax) on timely basis.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have: Good work organization/detail oriented Time management Min 3 years accounts payable accounting experience, preferably with audit background problem identification and resolution skills Good written and verbal communication skills Fluency in English and Arabic is highly appreciated. ERP Experience, preferable SAP Bachelor in Accounting/Finance or related.
