Our client, a prestigious and diversified holding company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and financial management functions for one of the company's key divisions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight in all financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire financial function of the assigned division, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other reports in line with IFRS standards.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits and filings.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve accounting accuracy.
Oversee cash flow management, cost control, and expense monitoring for the assigned division.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the digitalization of financial systems and procedures.
Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certification required: Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably within a holding company, investment group, or diversified organization.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation.

• Proven ability to manage multiple entities/divisions and deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills..
