We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Project Finance Team in Fujairah, UAE. Are you an adventurer? Role summary: As a member of the Finance team, you will support the Finance department in all its activities by undertaking among others, bookkeeping and reporting requirements of various books, monthly payroll, and running of labor cost exercises. We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Project Finance Team in Fujairah, UAE. Are you an adventurer? Role summary: As a member of the Finance team, you will support the Finance department in all its activities by undertaking among others, bookkeeping and reporting requirements of various books, monthly payroll, and running of labor cost exercises. What will you need to do:
- Analyses transactions based on accounting documents and writes accounting entries using given COA codes.
- Manage accounting documents regularly (such as invoices, advice, instructions, statements, reports, etc) and ensures that all accounting documents are signed and supported as required before proceeding further.
- Monitor all documents in line with VAT regulations and other related activities and ensure Tax practices.
- Prepare computation or analyses in support of monthly amortization/depreciation/accrual/provision entries.
- Prepare monthly payroll deductions statement and submits the same for review and approval.
- Prepare financial statements like operations report, budget & cash flows reports, etc.as periodically required.
- Coordinate with other departments for the timely closing of inventory and other transactions.
- Monitor regularly the cash inflow/outflow in coordination with Management
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, or finance and any additional qualification will be an advantage.
- ERP Knowledge: proficient user of any ERP system
- Minimum 6 \xe2\x80\x93 8 years working experience as an Accountant in multinational Company, preferably in EPC construction company.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Good knowledge of the accounting cycle, principles and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent co-operation and interpersonal skills while working in a multicultural environment.
- Good communication and interface with the Team
- Operational mindset
- Reliable, responsible, and organized with a close attention to detail.
- A good team player with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments
