Al Jazeera Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to join our finance team. This is a critical role ensuring the financial integrity of one of the region's leading healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the healthcare sector, specifically managing the complexities of medical billing, insurance reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Healthcare Specialization:

Reconcile insurance claims and manage the revenue cycle flow between medical departments and finance. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings (VAT). Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

5+ years of overall professional accounting experience.

Industry:

At least 2 years of experience working within a

Hospital, Medical Center, or Clinic.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).

License:

CPA, ACCA, or CMA (Preferred).

Software:

Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with Medical ERP systems.

Skills:

Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy.
