Our client is an award-winning international interior fit out contractor.

We are recruiting a UAE experienced senior accountant to join their Dubai office.

The role responsible for the entire gambit of finance and the successful candidate must have strong experience in finalization of accounts, cash flow management, credit control, payroll and financial management reporting.

Role Summary

• Finalization of accounts, bank reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, VAT submissions, working capital, cash flow and balance sheet schedule preparations, vendor payments and following up with creditors on disputes and outstanding payments.

• Assist in financial and variance analysis and revenue forecasting and budgeting.

• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.

• Create financial policies and procedures to implement financial and internal controls and manage risk.

• Monitor expenses and implement initiatives to reduce operating costs.

• Prepare the monthly payroll including overtime and commission, end of service benefits and leave balance in line with UAE Labor Laws.

• Manage corporate tax and VAT compliance and reporting.

• Establish banking relationships and agreements to improve cash flow and working capital management.

• Budget / cost control -monitor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.

• Track KPIs, prepare monthly reports and board presentations, budget and annual operating plans and financial models.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• UAE experienced qualified accountant with 7 \xe2\x80\x93 10 PQE and a strong progressive track record in financial and management reporting.

• UAE experience in finalization of accounts and month end closing, income statements, accounts payable aging reports, working capital budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling and interpreting financial data and provide insights to facilitate strategic business planning and decision-making.

• In-depth knowledge of UAE\xe2\x80\x99s corporate tax and VAT regulations.

• Deep expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, auditing and cash flow management.

• Strong analytical capabilities in financial planning and modelling in Excel and Power BI dashboards to create data-driven analyses.

• Proficient use of Tally, QuickBooks and XERO; advanced proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.

• Finance experience in project finance in construction, engineering or events companies is a strong advantage.

• UAE driving license is mandatory.

Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory \xe2\x80\x93 CFA / CMA / CPA / ACCA / ACA Chartered Accountancy

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to live and work in Dubai - candidates living outside of Dubai will not be considered.

• Fluent in English.

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
