About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support management with accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
Handle accounts payable, receivable, and payroll reconciliation.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external partners as needed.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax regulations.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
