The Role
Guildhall, a premier recruitment agency, is recruiting a Senior Accountant for our client, a leading holding company managing a diverse real estate investment portfolio. We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in real estate or similar multi-business environments, such as Emirati family holding companies. Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA certification preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience as a senior accountant or similar role, preferably in the real estate sector or multi-business environments \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent leadership and team management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
