About the Company:

A well-established international trading firm with operations across the UAE and India is seeking a highly skilled

Senior Accountant

to join its finance team in Dubai. The company specializes in fasteners, metals, and industrial products, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, financial transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a

Chartered Accountant (CA)

with extensive experience in

India and the UAE

, particularly within the

import/export trading

sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, regulatory compliance, cost analysis, and managing key financial systems and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and oversee the

full set of books

for international trading activities Ensure full compliance with

IFRS

,

UAE VAT laws

, and other applicable regulations Manage and reconcile

Letters of Credit (LCs)

and

trade finance documentation

Perform detailed

inventory costing

and

margin analysis

across various product lines Liaise with external auditors and manage the

year-end audit process

Support or lead

ERP implementations and upgrades

(Tally/SAP) Provide financial insights to improve business performance and operational efficiency

Requirements:

CA-qualified

with a strong academic and professional background

5-8 years of experience

, including

mandatory experience in both India and UAE

Background in

import/export trading

, preferably in fasteners, metals, or similar sectors Strong knowledge of

IFRS, UAE VAT compliance

, and

trade finance

Proficient in ERP systems such as

Tally

or

SAP

Demonstrated ability in

cost accounting, margin analysis

, and financial controls Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills
