Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong professional qualifications (CA / CMA / ACCA / CFA or equivalent) and hands-on expertise in Sage ERP 300. The right candidate will not only manage accounting and reporting, but also identify finance gaps, strengthen controls, advise management on weaknesses, and implement improved systems and methods to support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring

Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing

Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis

Lead Sage ERP 300 finance processes (setup, reporting, workflows, controls, accuracy checks)

Identify gaps and risks in finance processes; design and implement corrective actions

Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations

Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis

Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants when required

Provide management with practical recommendations to improve financial performance and decision-making

Introduce and implement finance automation, systems improvements, and best practices

Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional qualification: CA / CMA / ACCA member / CFA /CPA

Strong experience in Sage ERP 300 (mandatory)

Minimum [5] years of relevant accounting/finance experience (Senior Accountant level)

Strong knowledge of:

Financial reporting and month-end close

Internal controls and process improvement

Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

Audit coordination and documentation

Strong communication skills and ability to advise senior management confidently

High attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving mindset

Experience in trading / distribution / manufacturing industry

UAE experience and knowledge of VAT compliance

Ability to build SOPs, implement approval workflows, and improve finance governance
