Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking for a Senior Accountant to work in our Head Office in Abu Dhabi.Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 - 10 years of experience as a Senior Accountant (with UAE experience)
• CA or CPA
• Knowledge and Hands On experience with SAP is an advantage
• Experience in managing foreign subsidiaries accounting in MENA region (with the support of local tax advisors) is a must
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company.
• Ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
• High degree of accuracy
• Preferably with experience from Big 4 (KPMG, PWC, Deloitte or EY)

Essential Functions

• Maintain and reconcile all transactions which contribute towards an efficient monthly closing.
• Assists in the preparation and review of monthly account analysis, account reconciliation and monthly closing processes.
• Maintains the posting and clearing of contracts for all customer transactions to ensure customer data is updated as well as to reflect proper receivables and payables balance in the financial statements for the monthly closing deadlines.
• Prepares monthly reconciliations of treasury items to ensure all are closed within the established time frame to facilitate efficient monthly closing.
• Records the transactions of VMIH and the international branches as well as prepares and reviews all journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations to facilitate and complete monthly closing procedures.
• Analyzes revenue contracts as well as reconcile all expenses to ensure all contract values are in accordance with the policies and procedures and are recorded within the correct period.
• Prepares financial statements and reports on major variances to ensure that financial statements are accurately completed within the set timelines.
• Assists in external audits by preparing various documentation required to ensure a smooth and seamless process.
• Assists in analyzing revenue by preparing standard reports to ensure accuracy in all areas of reporting.
• Assists in preparation of management reports to ensure a proper flow of information to the management team of VMIH.
