DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to assist our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational finance, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and timely manner. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for preparing various reports and analyses at the request of management.

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

Assist senior team members with day-to-day data entry requirements. Prepare weekly, monthly, and Ad-hoc reports as required by the senior team members. Oversee and validate sales and purchase order data and correct the data entry if required. Finalize Sales and revenue for the month. Reconcile stock receipts with purchase orders. Review the month-end stock report and make necessary provisions as per accounting policy. Assist in regular stock counts. Assist in managing fixed assets. Review Master data for Vendors, Customers, and items regularly. Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts. Review backlog and report changes to backlog weekly. Keep proper records for vendor purchase orders and invoices, and implement a 3-way match process. Assist in reviewing vendor advances and tracking relevant payments. Assist in the sales order approval process by reviewing margins and obtaining necessary approvals. Perform margin reconciliation regularly. Prepare vendor payment schedule. Prepare Tax returns for U.A.E and K.S.A. entity. Any other tasks assigned by the manager. Please note that the candidate may be required to make themselves available off regular working hours, if necessary, due to serving multiple countries/Time zones.*

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

About you

The ideal Accounting and Controlling Manager will have:

At least 3 years of Experience, ideally with Multinational companies in a Multi-Entity Environment. Professionally Qualified Accountant. CA, ACCA, or CPA. Sound Knowledge of IFRS and Financial Statement preparation. Working experience with an Audit firm, ideally with the Big 4. Well-versed with Middle East tax laws such as VAT, Corporate Tax, and Withholding Tax. Sound knowledge of MS Excel and working with big datasets. Experienced and knowledgeable in Budgeting, Forecasting, DSO, DPO, DIO, etc.

Preference will be given to candidates who can Join Immediately.
