Job Description
*Responsibilities:*
teachers and parents
support/learning plans
language therapists, and occupational therapists
- classroom management
- good knowledge of the American Curriculum
- be proactive in class and engage with students on a teaching level
- provide support for students and know how to handle students of different
- teach students how to be independent
- always set a good example
- develop and oversee the implementation of the school\'s SEN strategy and
- carry out assessments of pupils with SEN to identify needs and monitor
teachers and parents
- work with classroom teachers, the school leadership team, parents and
support/learning plans
- provide regular updates on pupil progress through written reports and
- make referrals and liaise with professionals outside of the school - this
language therapists, and occupational therapists
- provide advice, guidance, and training to classroom teachers on supporting
- support teachers to develop schemes of work and learning programs for
- support teachers to develop and implement effective teaching and behavior
