The SEM Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing search engine marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, flight bookings and revenue. They will work closely with the other areas of Digital Acquisition including SEO and paid media channels, as well cross-functional teams in Digital & Ecommerce, to align SEM activities with business goals and objectives. The SEM Officer will ensure adherence to best practices, implementation of effective bidding strategies and apply optimisation techniques to consistently maximise airline revenue.
Accountabilities
Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns across multiple platforms including Google, Bing, Yandex, Naver, Yahoo Japan, Baidu, 360 & Sogou.
Support digital campaign managers in ensuring search campaigns are delivered according to the schedule and within set budgets.
Work collaboratively with the in-house Digital Acquisition team, vendors and agency to deploy a customer-centric approach to digital marketing; relevant and effective across all digital customer touch-points.
Aggregate and analyse data, generating cross-platform reports for digital marketing activities.
Education & Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a client or agency SEM role, airline experience desirable.
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience of managing SEM budgets in excess of 1m USD annually
Platform certification in SA360, Google Campaign Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics
Understanding of SQL and Javascript in to support teams responsible for web/app implementation with SEM requirements.
