Job Description

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion. Secures and controls entry and exit points of the company like doors, windows and gates. Responds to alarms and investigate disturbances. Checks the fire extinguishers, fire water hose reel and diesel pump. Checks and monitors the proper wearing of uniforms, shoes and caps (if applicable) and be able to report of any violators to ensure that the company is following strict compliance with standards. Protect employees and the property of the company as well as ensuring the safety of the visitors during their course of stay in the company premises. Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer queries, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of any kinds of materials into restricted areas. Monitors and regulate building facilities such as water & electricity meters to prevent the occurrence of shortage, spillage and over usage. Prepares a registry book to write-down all reports and observations on day-to-day basis. An organized system of record of the incoming and outgoing materials and vehicles is essential for proper monitoring. Roams around and vigilantly inspect and check factory premises, admin block and other areas of assignments for security and safety reasons. Secures gate passes to any person or vehicles that comes in and out the company premises. Manages trucks arrangement in the event that congestion was seen so as not to block the passageway and to make the flow of vehicles coming in and out of the premises more organized. Makes sure that Security Guards from Outsource Agencies (e.i. AMAN Company) complies with the internal standards and that requirements specified in the contract itself were properly met such as a holder of valid passport with residence visa and labor card, knows internal policies and guidelines, familiarization of all employees, reinforcing peace and order and promote confidentiality. Communicates supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates in telephonic conversations, written, e-mail, or personal. Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating with Others. Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others. TIMELY JOB FUNCTIONS & ERRANDS Coordinate with Police or Civil Defense in cases of emergency or intrusion of unauthorized persons or in cases that fighting incidents are beyond their control or jurisdiction. And to report the same with the Admin. Manager or Managers concerned as per the sensitivity and significance of the incident. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Coordinates with concerned department related to arriving employees with respect to their assigned rooms and on the other hand checks the room and company belongings during the end of tenure of each employee. Conducts preemptive fire evacuation plan and allocate assembly point to or whenever the need of an emergency situation will arise. Monitor employees in time keeping in order coinciding with proper attendance. Log daily complaint or irregularities such as theft, damaged property, intrusion of unauthorized persons and unusual occurrences and be able to report this to the concerned department or entity to instigate proper evaluation of the case. Complaint in the accommodation area is subsequently jutted-down and informs General Service Team for prompt action. Monitoring CCTV system to check the premises in all angles to ensure that areas are in control. Supervises training of new Security Guard and arranges work schedule to recover and evaluate the shortage of manpower To call Municipality truck to collect and remove garbage and sewerage Ensures to cooperate in the event that overtime duty is required. Shall work on Fridays / Holidays if required. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
