We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Specialist, Information & Analysis, to join our outstanding team of security professionals based in our 24/7 Regional Security Centre in Dubai, UAE. As a Security Specialist, Information & Analysis, you will undertake collection and processing of information & analysis on Mashreq & Iran, East & Southern Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia to provide timely security assessments and advice to International SOS\xe2\x80\x99 clients and internal stakeholders.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and process security information on Mashreq & Iran, East & Southern Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia through all-source research, processing and analysis ensuring client-facing security standing information is up to date, relevant and reflective of the current situation.
Collaborate extensively with the Content Services professional community of researchers, multimedia specialists and editors to deliver a shared vision of audience-centric and multimedia digital production.
Report and escalate security or disruption issues affecting International SOS\xe2\x80\x99 clients in line with reporting guidance and thresholds.
Conducting research into specific security-related questions in order to maintain operational planning and readiness as required by inform International SOS\xe2\x80\x99 operational posture.
As required, deliver safety and security trainings and workshops as well as engage in client specific security intelligence consultancy tasks as required
Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of political and security landscape within Mashreq & Iran, East & Southern Africa, or Eastern Europe and Central Asia and global security issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex situations to non-expert audiences.
Ability to critically analyse multiple streams of information under time pressure and produce actionable insights.
Languages:
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Advanced professional proficiency in Arabic, Urdu, Farsi, Russian, Swahili or another regional language preferred
