Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Experience with clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience securing and growing a customer base, carrying and exceeding strategic business goals.
  • Experience in international markets and in negotiating large, complex deals, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and technical benefits in business terms to the executive level.
  • Knowledge of product and market trends in cybersecurity and Cloud.
  • Ability to build strong and continuous relationships, selling to executives across security and IT business units, ensure customer success and adoption, leading to customer renewal and expansion.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity with attention to detail.

About the job

As a Security Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our cybersecurity business by maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base. You will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Expand install base by selling VirusTotal products to new teams or new locations inside organizations that are existing customers, meeting or exceeding quarterly goals.
  • Develop and drive pipeline, managing renewal cycles, increasing customer engagement and receiving and leveraging positive customer testimonials.
  • Maintain and grow relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, act as a trusted advisor to the account.
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Customer Success, Channels, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customers and provide excellent customer experience, driving efficiencies and scale.
