Job Description

Gulf Brands International is a leading importer and distributor of alcoholic beverages in Bahrain, currently seeking Bahraini candidates for the position of Security Officer.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Checks/Patrols the entire shop to ensure that it is safe and secure from any hazards.

2. Supervises and checks movement of goods coming in and out and ensures no items leave the Stores/Outlet without proper authorization.

3. Checks company vehicles daily for damages if any and logs/reports to the Supervisor/ SM/ RM

4. Checks and inspects staff bags, personal effects and parcels to ensure that no company property is taken out without covering permiVofficial receipt. Body search/inspection may carry out by the security upon instructions of Security manager.

5. Controls the exit and entry of Personnel to & from shop

6.Checks as scheduled the time clock as directed in the rosters.

7. Reports and logs any accidents/incidents occurring in his shift and report the same to the Supervisor/ Security manager.

8. Responsible for cash escorts with the cashier to all outlets and is responsible to accompany same to GH to ensure cash is safely deposited.

10.Refers all matters to Security manager/ Supervisor when confusion arises and is beyond his authority levels.

11.Maintains all company equipments in good condition.

12.Perform any tasks assigned by the Superiors from time to time.

13. Does not allow any unauthorized deliveries/takeaways by anyone without proper authorization.

14. SHOP LIFTING: If any person is apprehended for shoplifting the matter should be immediately reported to Security manager/ Supervisor. The items to be confiscated and the offender to be blacklisted.

15. FIRE/EMERGENCY/ROBBERY/ARSON: In cases of fire the necessary evacuation will be carried out by the Security Officer according to the Fire Safety Manual.Tackle the fire if possible and report to Supervisor/RM/ Security manager. Mainly concentrate on safeguarding the lives of human beings. Evacuate all souls. If robbery or arson takes place irrespective of anything protect yourself and the lives of the colleagues only.

16. No security staff will handle Sales/Cash besides specified duties as per the job description.

17.Daily during the duty hours carry out checks on Fire safety equipments and see that they are in working condition and up to the company Security & Safety standards.

LIMITS OF AUTHORITY

For all important interventions he has to liaise with the Supervisor/RM/Security manager directly.
