Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre is hiring a skilled and vigilant Security Officer to join our Loss Prevention team. This role is crucial in ensuring guest safety, protecting assets, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment. Job Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property, monitor surveillance systems, and ensure guest and employee safety
• Respond to emergencies, including accidents, injuries, and disturbances; administer first aid or call EMS as needed
• Conduct security drills, key audits, safety inspections, and confidential investigations
• Maintain detailed incident reports and handle sensitive information professionally
• Escort unwelcome individuals off property in accordance with Marriott protocols
• Enforce alcohol control laws and resolve hazards or service disruptions calmly and effectively
• Support team motivation and training efforts in alignment with Marriott's Open Door Policy
• Communicate clearly with guests and staff, offering courteous and professional service at all times

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a security, military, or law enforcement role
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties, including lifting, climbing, and responding to emergencies
• Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literacy for report entry and surveillance monitoring
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflict resolution professionally
