Security Officer
We are currently seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises and ensuring the protection of our staff, guests, and assets. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and patrol assigned areas, promptly respond to incidents, and enforce security protocols and procedures.
What you will be doing:

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure a safe environment.
Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activities or breaches.
Enforce access control measures by verifying identification, conducting security checks, and issuing visitor passes as required.
Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, following established protocols and guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incident reports, and shift logs.
Collaborate with other security team members and departments to coordinate efforts and ensure a unified approach to security.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting staff and guests with inquiries, directions, and safety-related concerns.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment, doors, windows, and other areas to ensure they are secure and in proper working condition.
Stay up-to-date with security best practices, regulations, and procedures, and proactively identify and report any security vulnerabilities or risks.
Follow and enforce company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a related field is preferred.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Knowledge of security equipment and systems, such as CCTV cameras and access control systems.
Basic computer skills for maintaining logs and reports.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
