The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and hotel assets at Raffles & Fairmont Doha. The role requires maintaining a secure environment through vigilance, professionalism, and proactive response, while delivering courteous and discreet service in line with luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the safety and security of guests, employees, and property at all times
Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including public areas, back-of-house, and perimeter
Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to any security concerns or incidents
Control access points and ensure proper identification and authorization procedures are followed
Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, and security threats in accordance with established SOPs
Prepare accurate incident reports and logs in a timely manner
Assist guests and colleagues in a courteous, calm, and professional manner
Support VIP and Royal guest movements with discretion and confidentiality
Enforce hotel policies, safety procedures, and local laws and regulations
Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when required
Participate in security drills, training, and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with fire life safety standards and emergency procedures
Identify potential hazards and report safety risks immediately
Assist in investigations related to accidents, theft, or property damage
Follow all brand standards, confidentiality requirements, and ethical conduct policies
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hotel security or a related field preferred
Experience in luxury hotels and/or resort is an advantage
Valid security license or certification as per local regulations
* Knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and emergency response procedures
