***This position will support APS5 and it is contingent upon award***

Security Manager must have experience and be capable of implementing written security policies, procedures and maintaining security standards. Will organize and oversee all security operations of Vectrus LCV personnel in Kuwait. Will be responsible for a wide range of duties that will include, ensuring our security programs are up-to-date and distributed in accordance with the contract. Assist personnel with Security Clearance related issues, and process CAC applications. Must be capable of learning the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and any new security system that may be installed. The Security Manager may also assist with other security disciplines when required. Conduct Foreign Travel Briefs for employees who are traveling outside the country.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Conducts security indoctrination and education programs for newly hired employees.

+ Smart Card Processing. Security Administration is notified of employee(s) who requires Smart Card access and will provide these employees with the SF85P form for completion.

+ Conducts fingerprinting of individuals being processed for NAC's, NAC-I's or Secret clearances.

+ Verify citizenship of all US citizens being processed for NAC-I / Secret clearances.

+ Perform as the Subject Matter Expert (SME's), updating security plans, policies, methods, techniques and processes related to security. Make recommendations for improvements.

+ Experience in dealing with conflict resolution, this position requires professional and positive interaction with internal and external customers, to include: co-workers, military, contractors and senior officials.

+ Maintain open communication with program and contract personnel to enhance our relationships and provide superior customer service.

+ Assist in maintaining a database(s) to track and monitor key, lock and seal control.

+ Initiates or assists with reports on investigations, inspections and incidents in the AOR or as directed by the Program Director, Operations Manager or Director of Emergency Services.

+ Assists with investigations of lost, compromised or suspected compromise of classified material.

+ Assist with the processing and tracking of CAC applications, security clearance paperwork, and other related forms and processes.

+ Must have a working knowledge of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).

+ Performs other job duties as required.

Qualifications

+ Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ This position requires at a minimum a High School graduate.

+ Must be able to obtain CAC Card

+ Must be able to obtain Host Country Driver's License

+ Clearance Required:

+ Secret Clearance is required.

+ Preferred Qualifications:

+ College degree or extensive practical experience in Personnel Security is preferred.

+ Experience:

+ Minimum of two years practical experience in Personnel Security with a basic knowledge of computers; physical, industrial and information security highly desired.

+ Skills:

+ Detailed oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to execute innovative security programs in a fast-pace environment.

+ Supervisory Responsibilities:

+ Supervise the Security Department.

+ Working Conditions:

+ Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).

+ Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

+ Physical Requirements:

+ Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

+ Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

+ Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

+ Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
