Job Summary: Looking for a Security Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Come up with and implement comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the company\'s physical assets, information, and personnel
• Carry out thorough risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
• Manage and lead a team of security personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations as required
• Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to understand security requirements and integrate security measures into business processes
• Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant external organizations
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices to enhance the company\'s security posture continuously
• Develop and manage crisis management and emergency response plans, ensuring readiness to handle various incidents effectively
• Carry out security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security consciousness
• Lead investigations into security breaches, incidents, and violations, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Coordinate and participate in regular security drills and exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures
• Manage security budget, including resource allocation, equipment procurement, and vendor relationships
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and actions taken for reporting and analysis purposes
• Undertake any other relevant duties as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant must have relevant qualifications with proven experience in a security management role
• Must have outstanding experience using technical equipment such as CCTV, computers, printers, fax machines, etc
• Strong knowledge and experience in emergency management and security planning
• Good knowledge of security principles, risk assessment, physical security, access control, and security technologies
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Solid understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to security
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all security matters
