Job Summary: Looking for a Security Guard in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Ensure the safety and security of the mall, its visitors, employees as well as tenants
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the mall premises to deter potential security threats
• Implement mall rules and regulations to maintain a peaceful and orderly environment
• Operate and monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems as well as other security equipment
• Promptly respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or criminal activities
• Carry out regular inspections of the mall to identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors with directions, inquiries, or general assistance
• Complete detailed incident reports for all security-related matters or violations
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant must have a minimum high school Diploma
• Must have security guard training with at least 1 to 2 years of experience working in the same field
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify potential security risks or suspicious behavior
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid is desirable
• Must be familiar with security equipment such as surveillance cameras, access control systems as well as alarm systems
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and reliability
• Must be physically fit to handle prolonged periods of standing, walking as well as responding to emergencies
