**Job Title:** PSBD Security Guard **Job Summary:** The PSBD (Private Security Business Department) Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding the premises, assets, and individuals within the scope of the private security business regulations. This role requires adherence to PSBD guidelines and a commitment to maintaining a secure and safe environment. **Key Responsibilities:** **Security Operations:** 1. Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to ensure the security and safety of the premises. 2. Monitor and control access points, checking identification and verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises. 3. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action as per PSBD protocols. **Surveillance:** 1. Use surveillance equipment, such as CCTV cameras, to monitor activities within the facility. 2. Report any suspicious behavior, security breaches, or potential threats. **PSBD Compliance:** 1. Familiarize oneself with and strictly adhere to PSBD regulations and guidelines. 2. Ensure that security operations are conducted in accordance with PSBD standards and local laws. **Visitor Assistance:** 1. Provide assistance and directions to visitors, ensuring a courteous and helpful demeanor. 2. Escort authorized personnel within the premises as needed. **Report Writing:** 1. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations. 2. Submit regular reports to supervisors or management as required. **Emergency Response:** 1. Participate in emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for various scenarios. 2. Follow established protocols during emergencies, evacuations, or lockdowns. **Equipment Maintenance:** 1. Ensure that security equipment, such as radios, flashlights, and surveillance devices, is in good working condition. 2. Report any equipment malfunctions and assist in their repair or replacement. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - PSBD certification is mandatory.
