Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors. This role includes monitoring activities, enforcing regulations, and responding to incidents in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

Surveillance

: Monitor surveillance cameras and patrol assigned areas to prevent and respond to incidents.

Access Control

: Manage access to the premises by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel.

Incident Response

: Respond to alarms and emergencies, conducting investigations and reporting situations to relevant authorities as needed.

Safety Compliance

: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, and identify potential security risks or hazards.

Reporting

: Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

Customer Service

: Provide assistance to employees and visitors, answering questions and addressing concerns politely and professionally.

Collaboration

: Work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Training

: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

Education

: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security management is a plus.

Experience

: Previous experience as a security guard or related role is preferred.

Certifications

: Valid security guard license; certification in first aid and CPR is an advantage.

Skills

: Strong observational and surveillance skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergencies. Proficient in the use of security equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods. Capability to lift and carry up to [insert weight] lbs as needed. Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies.

Work Conditions

May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work may involve exposure to inclement weather and various environments.
