We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our customers, staff, and premises. The ideal candidate will be proactive in preventing theft, managing security situations, and offering assistance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Safety
- Monitor the premises to deter theft, prevent disturbances, and address potential safety hazards.
Theft Prevention
- Identify and discourage shoplifting or suspicious activity; liaise with authorities when necessary.
Surveillance Monitoring
- Operate and observe CCTV systems to detect irregularities and report concerns.
Control Access
- Manage entry and exit points to ensure restricted areas are accessed only by authorized personnel.
Respond to Incidents
- Act promptly during emergencies, provide assistance, and document incidents accurately.
Routine Patrols
- Conduct regular checks of the store, including aisles, stockrooms, and parking areas.
Customer Support
- Assist customers with safety concerns and provide guidance as required.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with store management and staff to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
Requirements & Skills:
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Capable of resolving conflicts calmly and effectively.
Previous security experience is an advantage.
