Position: Security Engineer

Location: Dubai (remote)
Senior Security Engineer with strong working knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) is required to join a Series-C start-up based in Dubai. This is a fully remote position
You will be joining a growing and diverse security engineering team, working closely with the software development team and Product team to develop and implement security tools to ensure the platform is secure from any vulnerability threats.
Key skills required:
- 4+ years commercial VAPT security experience
- End-user security, infrastructure security and server security experience
- Web application, mobile application & API penetration testing
- Exposure to AWS
- Automation security experience
- Strong working knowledge of Python & Linux programming
- Java (desirable)
- Penetration Testing and analysing the vulnerability for web apps, infrastructure, mobile apps and APIs.
- Liaising and consulting with the software engineering and product teams to enhance application security.
- Code reviews and support application security reviews, threat modelling and testing.
- Acting as a port of call on security incidents identified through monitoring.
- Write security reports, identifying findings and providing recommendations to further enhancements of system security improvements.
