The opportunity

Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include periodic and ad-hoc risk assessments, security policy and process improvement management, high level risk advisory, and forward-facing engagement to ensure the security of G42 Cloud and its customers.
Security Engineers are expected to maintain the highest levels of professionalism in the face of adverse and high stress conditions.- Conduct periodic and ad-hoc vulnerability assessments at the cloud and network infrastructure levels utilizing both automated tools and manual techniques.
- Perform security control reviews and penetration testing of existing, updated, and newly deployed systems and services.
- Research, develop, and deploy new and existing tactics, techniques, and procedures to engage in-house and client facing teams to obtain adversarial advantage.
- Advisory support for forward facing teams in the development of best in class security posture adherence and assurance.
- Engaging leadership on security improvement projects. Collaboration with support, systems, network, and SOC teams to address changes and propose technical measures to detect, attribute, and correct security flaws.
- Develop comprehensive and accurate reports on technical findings for both technical and executive audiences.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation for processes and procedures related to internal security tooling, testing and systems management.
- Research and development of security automation tooling for at scale deployment in the form of scripts, compiled code, or API logic to support security operations and engineering.

- Understanding of Linux operating system internals, virtualization and cloud technologies.
- Minimum proven experience in performing of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, or adversary simulation. - 2 years
- Experience with open offensive security tooling such as Tenable, Burp Suite, Metasploit.
- Experience in exploitation and exploit development for vulnerabilities associated with most common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), protocols (HTTP, FTP, etc.), and network security services (PKI, HTTPS, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of modern technology stacks including cloud orchestration, data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies.
- Strong, low-level knowledge of common networking and communications technologies.
- Capability to reverse engineer applications, technologies, and protocols and forward engineer solutions to support mission objectives.

- Offensive security certifications, examples: OSCP OSCE, GXPN, CREST
- Experience with at least one cloud platform as a tenant - Azure, AWS or GCP
- Experience with volumetric streaming data technologies supporting security operations objective
