A Security and Network Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a company\'s security and network infrastructure. Their primary responsibilities include:
The ideal SOC and NOC Manager for Beyond ONE and all its subsidiaries should have a strong understanding of telecommunications regulations and standards, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. They should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have experience in cyber security management and operations in the telecommunications industry. A bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in a related field, such as law, business administration, or engineering, and relevant certifications, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CISM and CRISC are also desirable.
- Managing and coordinating the activities of the SOC and NOC team to ensure smooth and efficient network operations.
- Ensuring that all network issues are promptly identified, investigated, and resolved.
- Ensuring the supplier selected for Manged NOC service performs as the contractual terms, this consists of service delivery, monitoring services, management of services, incident management, alert management, escalation matrix and reporting on a regular basis.
- Implementing procedures for security and network monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ensuring network performance is monitored to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance network performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with IT teams, such as Application, Security, Engineering, to implement network security measures and ensure compliance organization standards.
- Analyzing network data to identify trends and develop proactive strategies for network maintenance and upgrades.
- Working closely with the OpCo teams to ensure the onboarding of assets to NOC and SOC are performed on a continuous basis.
- Implement security configuration, solutions such as IAM, VPN, Firewall, IPS, IDS etc.
- Governing third-party vendors and service providers, monitor KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, SLA and ensure that the SOC and NOC are run as per the guidelines set forth.
- Managing and coordinating the activities of the SOC team to ensure
- smooth and efficient security operations.
- Ensuring that all security incidents and breaches are promptly identified,
- investigated, and resolved.
- Implementing IR run books and ensuring set procedure are implemented
- and monitored all times to improve the SOC and NOC operations.
- Expertise on SIEM, threat intel solutions, Vulnerability, and patch
- management solution, NDR and EDR is crucial.
- Expertise on OS such as Windows and Linux is required, OS monitoring
- solution such as PRTG, Nagios etc.
- Expertise on Application monitoring solutions such as Newrelic,
- Appdynamics, Dynatrace is required.
- Monitoring security performance to identify areas for improvement and
- implement strategies to enhance security posture and reduce risk.
- Collaborating with other IT teams, such as Network, Applications, third and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
