GEMS TBS (The British School El-Rehab)is seeking a passionate and qualified

Secondary Science Teacher

. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.

Key Responsibilities



Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or combined Science Ensure teaching aligns with the British National Curriculum / IGCSE / A-Level standards Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and reporting as required Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners Maintain a safe, well-organized, and stimulating laboratory/classroom environment Prepare students for internal and external examinations (IGCSE, A-Level, or equivalent) Participate in department meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities Uphold school policies, safeguarding procedures, and professional standards

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Science or Science Education (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related) Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a secondary school Experience teaching IGCSE / A-Level Science preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for teaching and student development Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
