The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons. Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Music lessons that meet the needs of all students
• Plan and deliver annual musical and work with other events through the year
• Build an environment where students get opportunities to perform during school events, lunch time, local competitions and events
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching.
• Passionate to lead performances, and musicals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Music, Education, or a related field
• Applicants with a Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or higher will be given preference.
• Assessment for learning and personalised, inquiry-based teaching approaches will be an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
• At least two years of experience teaching Music in either A-level, IB-MYP, GCSE, IB-DP or any other outcomes based education system preferred.
• Strong piano or guitar accompaniment skills.
