Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate

Politics Teacher

to join our academic faculty and deliver engaging lessons in political science, government systems, and international relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in political studies, a clear teaching style, and the ability to foster critical thinking and debate among students.

This role is suited for individuals who can teach politics across various educational levels, including

high school (IGCSE, A/AS Levels, IB)

or

university foundation programs

, and who are able to relate political theory to current events and global developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach political science and government-related subjects to students across relevant grade levels Develop lesson plans aligned with international and/or national curriculum standards (e.g. A Levels, IB, CBSE) Facilitate discussions, debates, and case studies on historical and contemporary political issues Help students understand key concepts such as governance, constitutions, ideologies, public policy, and international relations Encourage analytical thinking, research skills, and balanced argumentation Assess student progress through assignments, essays, presentations, and exams Stay updated on current affairs to bring real-world relevance into the classroom Support students with university admissions, projects, and exam preparation as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Political Science, International Relations, History

, or a related field Prior teaching or tutoring experience (minimum 1-2 years preferred) Strong knowledge of political theories, systems, and global affairs Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to engage students in meaningful and respectful dialogue Experience teaching exam curricula such as

IGCSE, IB, A Levels, or AP Politics

is highly desirable Familiarity with digital learning tools for online or blended teaching formats
