Established in 2015, the campus in RAK caters to students from KG to Grade 12, with a spacious campus split into KG, Primary, and High School sections for boys and girls. The school has a total enrollment of nearly 3000 students, the majority of whom are of Arabic origin (95% are Emirati). and is fully authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. The school encourages students to become critical thinkers through a curriculum designed to develop students' skills and awareness, preparing them to be responsible and productive citizens of their own society and the world community.

Role Overview:
You will be teaching English Literature and Language to pupils following a dynamic inquiry-based learning approach which is based upon the International Baccalaureate Programs framework. You will be:

• A passionate and dedicated teacher committed to fostering a love of teaching and nurturing young minds
• An educator who can create engaging and dynamic lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
• A professional with a strong understanding of the IB MYP/DP curriculum and the ability to manage a classroom effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of students

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB MYP/DP curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success

Additional Duties

• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject supported by a relevant teaching certificate (copy of degree and transcripts must be provided upon application).
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching.
• Previous ESL and IB MYP/DP experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and strong classroom management skills.
