Job Summary

The SEALINE ENGINEER will be responsible for the design and construction of subsea systems such as pipelines, cables and equipment structures below the surface of the sea. He/ she will provide technical and engineering support and guidance to offshore or on-site teams managing the installation of wellheads on the seabed and the flowlines joining them to the platform. The right person will manage of all work scope related to an asset, including the management of contractors/ suppliers for the work scope. He/ she will produce budgets and plans for specific studies or modifications and manage the cost control process.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in Mechanical/ Civil Engineer
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience working in a similar function
• Proven experience with Middle Eastern standard specifications (i.e. Saudi Aramco/ ADNOC)
• Knowledge of Subsea Sealine and Flowline Engineering methodologies and criteria
• Knowledge of the main tools and software commonly used in Sealine and Flowline Engineering execution (i.e. DNV suits, Autopipe and/ or Caesar II, Mathcad, Office Suite, PRCI AGA...)
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative and flexible environment

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

• Provide on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, and adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Subsea Sealine and Flowline Engineering: performance and calculation, preparation of the technical report, supervision of drafting activities
• Supporting procurement for EPCI/ Bis Projects: Preparation of PR, MR, TBE and vendor follow up.

Location: Abu Dhabi/ Sharjah, UAE

Contract duration: Permanent

Starting date: November 1, 2022

Working schedule: 9 hrs/ 5 days
