Role Overview

Our client is seeking an exceptionally talented

Sculptural Cake Artist

to create extraordinary custom cakes that push the boundaries of form, texture, and storytelling. This role is ideal for a highly artistic pastry professional with advanced technical skills and a passion for edible sculpture in a luxury atelier environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and sculpt bespoke cakes with strong artistic storytelling and refined aesthetics. Create edible sculptures using fondant, modeling chocolate, and advanced chocolate techniques. Translate abstract creative direction into elegant, structurally sound edible masterpieces. Execute intricate details with expert precision, including sugar flowers and textural finishes. Apply color palettes with a painterly sensibility to ensure visual harmony. Collaborate with the Creative Director and atelier team to uphold the client's brand philosophy. Maintain a clean, organized, and serene studio environment. Occasionally present design concepts to high-end clientele with professionalism and clarity. Handle premium ingredients with deep understanding of flavor, texture, and structure.
Candidate Profile

Pastry chef with strong experience in cake sculpting, sugar art, and chocolate work. Highly skilled in advanced confectionery techniques. Passionate about detail, visual balance, and artistic expression. Calm, meticulous, and confident in client-facing environments. Experience in luxury or boutique cake ateliers is preferred.

Bonus:

Background in fine arts, sculpture, or design.
Requirements

Minimum

3 years of experience

in artistic or sculptural pastry work. Portfolio showcasing sculpted cakes, sugar art, and chocolate artistry (

mandatory

). Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional design standards. Fluent in English.
