We are currently seeking an experienced
Screwman
to join our paving crew. As a screwman, you'll work directly with thepaver operator
to ensure the proper depth, slope, and alignment of asphalt being laid by the paving machine.Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, operation, and control of the paver screed Adjust screed width and depth during paving operations Monitor mat quality and ensure even compaction Communicate with dump truck drivers and paver operators Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment Ensure job site safety and cleanliness
Requirements:
Previous experience as a
screwman
or screed operator preferred Familiarity with asphalt paving equipment and techniques Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions Team player with good communication skills Valid driver's license preferredJob Type: Full-time
