School Psychologist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Bilingual School Psychologist to support the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our diverse student body. This critical role involves working directly with students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive school climate, conduct assessments, and implement interventions that enable all students to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling and psychological services to students individually and in groups.
  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments to evaluate learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, and giftedness.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans.
  • Serve as a key member of the Student Support Team (SST) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) committee.
  • Deliver professional development workshops for staff on topics such as child development, mental health awareness, and classroom management strategies.
  • Respond to and manage crisis intervention situations within the school community.
  • Act as a liaison with external agencies, specialists, and professionals to coordinate care for students.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate records in compliance with school policy and ethical guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required for licensure/validation).
  • Licensure: Eligibility for or current licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Language: The candidate must be fully bilingual in Arabic and English (speaking, reading, and writing at a professional level).
  • Location: Must be currently based in the UAE.
  • Curriculum: Experience working within an American Curriculum school system is required, with an understanding of its academic and social-emotional learning frameworks.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist. Prior experience in the UAE/GCC is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, strong assessment and diagnostic abilities, and a deep understanding of child and adolescent development.
