School Nurse

The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit a professional and qualified School Nurse to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.

About the Role

As School Nurse you will work as part of the clinic team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a busy school clinic, caring for students between the ages of 3-18. Your primary focus will be to deliver high-quality frontline care while following best practice guidelines and maintaining accurate records. As School Nurse you will act as a link between school and home, providing assistance and information to parents and caregivers in order to support the health and wellbeing of our community. The role will be expected to support and coordinate first-aid provisions for planned activities within the school as well as assist in the delivery of annual vaccination programmes.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;

• BSc in Nursing recognised and approved by the UAE Ministry of Health
• HAAD registered or with complete requirements ready for HAAD School Nurse license application
• With at least two (2) year\'s nursing or paediatric clinical care experience
• Proficiency in English (written and oral)
• Ability to work with parents and other healthcare professionals
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
